Toy Cocker is an extremely intelligent and curios breed. They are fun loving animals very playful and attentive. They learn easily and require less exercise to train. They easily understand the commands used for sitting, standing and hunting. They are also called as gun dog due to their active hunting attitude and have “merry spaniel” as nick name.

Growing them as a pet is a perfect choice. They are very loyal to their leader and love being with them. They entertain by many funny activities. Their long ears and round eyes are very attractive. They have dense hair that makes them look tubby their short legs are strong and muscular.

They can adapt themselves easily in their crate and new environment. They consume less food so they do not poop often. They should not be left alone because they get depressed easily and behave abnormally. They should be treated gently and with love.

They are very cheerful and adorable pets. They are good observers and are good swimmers. They love to be with family members. Their hair is shinny and silky that makes them look cute. Hair should be regularly groomed and should wash it with proper shampoo.

Proper care should be taken of their health as they may suffer from ear infections, allergies, cataracts and glaucoma. Their life span is about 12-15 years, so caring such a loyal creature is our job. Showing more love care and attention will keep them happy and healthy.
