They are extremely beautiful and its fun being with them. They are small in size with adjustable character and infinite energy. They possess a beautiful soft single coat and long pendulous ears that are easy to maintain.

The head of cocker is dome shaped with centrally located attractive eyes which express their interest and curiosity on their surroundings.
They have dark obtrusive nose and more brown color nose if they are light coated. The upper lip hang beyond the lower jaw but are tight to mouth. Neck are short erect and muscular and legs are also short but appear to be tubby than their overall weight.

The body of spaniel cocker has a top line that slopes from shoulder to hips showing their ready appearance while they stand. The legs are short and strong and are good athlete. They can adapt themselves to new environment as they are trained. Their tails are 2/5 of their total length they keep wagging their tail expressing their happiness and joy.

They have extremely dense hair that grows rapidly so monthly haircuts should be done. They have long soft hair all over their body. Proper combing should be done to avoid tangles and mattes. They should not be left alone for long duration, else they will behave abnormally, and they will bark bite anything they see in their sight. They are fun loving pets so proper care and exercise can keep them healthy and happy. Their life span is about 10-11 years.
