Spaniels are basically called as gun dog and known for its hunting activity. They have a stout muscular leg that can run fast. They are very curios and keen observers. There are various types of breed such as “field”, “working” or “show” cocker. They often stay happy and also make others happy by their playful behavior.

They are gentle loyal breed and it’s a fun owning them. Its physical trait can be explained as shown below according to American Kennel Club:

Size: it ranges from 13 to 15 inches, females are smaller than males.

Coat: silky, flat and wavy and a texture that can be cared easily.

Color: it has various colors such as black, solid but other than black, parti-colors, apricot, orange brown, lemon, red-white, brown-white and many more.

Eyes: they are round and almond shape that express their interest on the surrounding and curiosity of learning.

Ears: they are long pendulous and are fine leather and well feathered.

Head: rounded but not wide.

Muzzle: square shaped but not deep and has even jaw.

Nose: dark in color and noticeable with good nostrils.

Tails: they are generally straight from their top line and always wagging showing their happiness.

These fun loving animals should not be kept alone the like to be noticed so proper care and attention will keep them happy. Behaving harshly will make it feel depressed and disobedient. They must be kept busy always by making them to play and they also make us happy by their entertaining activity.
